I found a picture of what I thought of how to use these hand made snowflakes.

I made a Christmas decoration for my shop, just using branches from the tree, a vase and the snowflakes.

Voorimehe as you can see on the map is located on the left hand side from Town Hall Square.

If you find yourselves on the very tight street, then you are surely found the street I am talking about. :)

New shop?

I have had my shop in the Raekoja square for a year now and I thought that it would be the right time to start broaden and to open another shop in the center of the old town. The new shop is a little bit smaller than the first one.

The address of my second shop is Voorimehe 4.

Of course I had to hire a new salesperson, who is a very nice young lady. She is experienced and knows several languages, so if you are a foreigner do not hesitate to stop by.

If you love to spend your time in the kitchen and cook, then you must have an apron.

We have in the shop aprons with pictures of sheep and cows.

If you still have not got one at home, it is the right time to buy one for yourself or as a present for someone special.

Snowflake

Something for the lovers of hand made work. This is crochet snowflake and it is on the table cloth which you can also find in the shop.

For those who are more interested in the table cloth, please let me know and I will put up a more detailed picture!

The snowflakes are very important part of christmas spirit and winter itself. These hand made snowflakes are small and featherlight that it is easy to decorate the room with them.
Just have to make everything of your imagination!

Kitchen towels

I have now something new in the shop again. Kitchen towels with very cute pictures on them of sheep and giraffes. The towels are 100% linen and the sizes are 50 x 75 cm.
I must argue with those who say that linen does not dry off the water, because it really does as this linen is specially processed which makes it softer and obedient.

As you have understood I absolutely love linen fabric. As I am so lucky to design those things and also share them with you, my home contains almost everything of linen, bed linen, runners, table cloths, decoration etc...everything that you have seen on this website.
I am inspired by the history and the beauty I see in this fabric, let me tell you more about linen:
LINEN, elegant, beautiful, durable, the refined luxury fabric. Linen is the strongest of the vegetable fibers and has 2 to 3 times the strength of cotton. Linen table cloths and napkins have been handed down generation to generation. Not only is the linen fiber strong, it is smooth, making the finished fabric lint free. Fine china, silver and candles are enhanced by the luster of linen which only gets softer and finer the more it is washed.
Linen is from flax, a bast fiber taken from the stalk of the plant. The luster is from the natural wax content. Creamy white to light tan, this fiber can be easily dyed and the color does not fade when washed. Linen does wrinkle easily but also presses easily. Linen, like cotton, can also be boiled without damaging the fiber.

My shop is mainly targeted for tourists as there is a lot of estonian hand made work and effort. So we have to be ready also for some bigger events in other cultures, for example Thankgiving day in United States.Turkey dinners, cranberries, candied yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and family gatherings-these are all commonly associated with most Americans' and Canadians' yearly celebration of giving thanks.

This kind of color runners I would suggest to people who are more traditional and love the style which is classical. Because the colour of grey is very conservative and at the same time very stilish.

It may seen that this kind of colours are more liked by elderly people, but this assumption is not very correct. More and more young families who come to my shop, buy this colour of runners, table clothes etc.

These kind of round napery is one of my favourite, being so gentle and classical. The grey surrounding is really accentuating the white linen.

This kind of napery is easy to maintain, they are small and easy to iron.

As I have mentioned we have a great selection of table clothes and napery.

This particular product on the picture is grey with a narrow red line on the sides and on it you can see red tea - cloth.

We also have this kind of tea - clothes in various colors and sizes - red, white, grey, purple, light purple, brown, dark blue and light blue. The sizes for those tea - clothes are 140 x 45, 160 x 45, 170 x 45, 180 x 45, 200 x 45, 300 x 45.

Apart from the table cloth on the picture, we have also white one with grey stripe and grey on with white stripe.
And the sizes for those table clothes are: 150 x 150, 180 x 150, 250 x 150, 300 x 150, 350 x 150.

This bed linen is 100% linen. The fabric has been specially processed for it to be soft. There are also linen in two colors. This kind of bed linen are surrently in the shop and you can get them in different sizes. 150 x 230, 200 x 220, 230 x 220, the pillowcases are also in different sizes: 50 x 60, 60 x 60, 50 x 80, 80 x 80, 70 x 70.

The freshest news I got from the designer are that absolutely new collection will hit the store next week. The collection is designed for christmas and contains new towels and table clothes. some pictures will be added later, when the products reach the shop. :)

Very luxurious FL collection for romantic souls has reached the shop! It is white bed linen. The fabric is very tender and soft against the skin. It contains 30% of cotton and 70% linen.
Sizes are: 150 x 230, 200 x 220, 230 x 220 and pillowcase sizes are: 50 x 80, 60 x 60, 50 x 60, 80 x 80, 70 x 70.

My name is Leena Vald and I am an owner of a little shop located in the old city of Tallinn, Estonia. I am also the designer of the products you can find there.
